To The East

To the east, The South West Coast Path passes through Osmington Mills, Ringstead, Durdle Door and on to Lulworth Cove. Interesting Geology can be seen at Stair Hole, the Fossil Forest and further along the coast at the ledges of Kimmeridge.

Whilst in Purbeck, the Quay at Wareham, ruins of Corfe Castle and seaside town of Swanage are all worth visiting before continuing on towards Studland and Poole Harbour. Brownsea Island sits in its midst, and there is a chain ferry to take you across the entrance for a detour to Poole and Bournemouth before returning via Bere Regis and Puddletown.
