Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Your confirmed reservation for a holiday constitutes acceptance of them.
1. Reservation In the event of signed Booking Form not being submitted with the deposit, the deposit itself indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions, which form a contract between you and the owners.
2. Payment A deposit of 50% is payable immediately to confirm the booking. The full rental payment is due on arrival.
3. Cancellation All cancellations should be made by telephone with confirmation in writing. On receipt of notice of cancellation, the owners shall seek to re-let the property. If they are successful the deposit shall be returned less an administrative charge of £20 per booking.
4. Terms The tenancy confers upon the Tenant the right to occupy for a holiday within the meaning of section 9 of the Rent Act 1977. Rentals commence at 3.00pm on the day of arrival and terminate at 10.00am on the day of departure. They are for a maximum of 4 weeks.
5. Insurance We recommend that you take out holiday and travel insurance, including cancellation cover.
6. Loss of possessions & personal injury The Owners of The Sea Turret accept no liability to any tenant for any personal injury, illness, loss or damage to property however sustained or caused, nor for the loss or theft of any property or money during their stay.
7. Care of property The tenants shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its contents, leaving them in the same state of repair and cleanliness at the end of the hire period as at the beginning. Although the tenants might not be charged for minor breakages (e.g. glasses) the tenant is responsible for all damage or breakages, and these should be reported to the owners. The owners reserve the right to charge if excessive cleaning is found necessary, or damage is discovered after the tenant has left. Additionally, tenants are reminded there is a non-smoking policy inside the property.
8. Number of guests The total number of guests staying must not exceed the bed capacity.
9. Circumstances beyond the owner's control If for any reason The Sea Turret is not available or the property has been rendered unsuitable for letting (e.g. water or fire damage) on the date booked, the owners will offer alternative accommodation or dates, or a refund of all payments will be made. There shall be no further claim against the owners.
10. Complaints Should you have cause for complaint, please advise the owners immediately so that remedial action can be taken. Compensation will not be paid for complaints raised at the end of the tenancy or after departure.
11. Right of entry The Owners reserve the right to enter the property at any reasonable time for purposes of inspection or to carry out necessary maintenance or repairs.
